This tour begins with a wonderful trip through some of the largest coffee plantations in the country known as Hacienda Doka located at about 1350 meters (4500 feet), where we will make a tour of the place observing the process and machinery used to produce our Golden Grain.
We will learn from the tradition, history and culture of one of the best coffees in the world, once the explanation is finished, we will have a delicious and typical Costa Rican lunch.
Eventually we will head to Greece, a quiet and beautiful town dedicated to the agriculture of coffee and sugar cane as well as textiles, founded in 1838 and considered one of the cleanest in Latin America. There you can admire the famous unique metal church in the country, which has a strange but beautiful neo-Gothic architecture brought from Europe to the country in the last decade of the 19th century.
Then we will go to the town of Sarchí, considered the birthplace of craftsmanship in Costa Rica, where we will visit the cart factory in order to observe the artisans of the area doing their best painting and wood carving, especially the elaboration of the carts typical splendidly decorated and in various sizes, which are appreciated around the world for its incomparable beauty and design.
