Our tour begins in the morning by crossing the mountains that surround the central valley using the main road that connects the capital with the coastal area. Once we pass the mountain range we will stop to have a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast in a typical place of the pacific zone on the banks of the Tárcoles river.
On our trip to the park we will take the Costanera Sur highway, enjoying beautiful views of the ocean, African palm plantations and picturesque villages along the Pacific coast until we reach the Port of Quepos and then continue towards the National Park.
Initially we will make a walk in the rain forest by a natural path of the national park until we reach the beach, where we can take a bath, or take a tour of the trails, which will allow us to observe the abundant flora and fauna of the same, in Particularly several species of monkeys, raccoons, iguanas, birds, and sloths also. One of its walks skirts Punta Catedral from where the view of the vegetation and the sea is spectacular.
